BOARD OF DIRECTORS
WHAT IS THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS?
The purpose of the Board of Directors is to provide operational oversight in strategic planning, budget approval, financial reporting, hiring, policy establishment and approval, which support the mission of LCF.
The BOD is a voluntary position of individuals that provide professional and technical expertise when it comes to operational oversight of the church. Members attend and participate in Board meetings twice per month and other times as necessary. They act as representatives of the church to manage, steward, operate, insure, sell, and lease church property of all kinds. Additionally, they complete the annual review of the lead pastor and are involved in HR matters for the church. They also create and approve policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance as a non-profit organization.
