The gospel is the good news that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was born into our sinful world, lived a perfectly sinless life, died for our sin, and rose again, eternally triumphant over sin and death. Because of His life, death, and resurrection there is now forgiveness for sin for those who receive God's grace through faith in Jesus.

Responding to the message of the gospel is as simple as confessing your sin, placing your faith in the work of Jesus for the forgiveness of your sin, and walking forward in dependence upon Him and Him alone for your salvation. This profession of faith results in a life increasingly transformed into the image of Jesus.

The beauty of the gospel is that Jesus, through His death, has paid the price for the sin of all humanity as an unmerited work of grace. Nothing else —no work of our own — can save us aside from God’s grace received through faith in Jesus.
