When did you come to know Jesus?
During my senior year of university, I went on a “missions” trip to Chattanooga, TN. While I was praying with a friend, the name of Jesus dropped into my heart. I had been longing to know who God was for the previous year. I had grown up in a strong Christian home, but had been taking philosophy and religion classes which left me confused and doubtful about the person of God, and about relationship with God. The name of Jesus laid all doubts to rest. In that moment, I knew that He was God, and that He was calling me to follow him.
How long have you been at LCF?
I have attended LCF since 2015.
Tell us a little bit about your family.
I have been married to Joelle since 2015. She is an incredibly joyful person, and I am constantly inspired by her walk with Jesus. She faithfully builds me up in the Lord and strengthens our family. We have an almost 4-year-old son named Boaz who loves people, loves to play, and is excited to learn. If you’re having a bad day and need a smile, ask him about volcanos or tornados.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I enjoy playing any sport. It helps me rest my mind and feels good for my body. I love going on dates with my wife and trying new ethnic foods. I also enjoy going places with my son and basking in his excitement about life.
