When did you come to know Jesus?

I came to know Jesus as a child after listening to an “Uncle Charlie” radio broadcast and praying with my Mom.  I had many questions about what “salvation” meant and she patiently answered all my young ponderings.  As she explained this to me, I knew that this is what I needed.  My parents both love Jesus and were intentional about living and modeling a Christ-centered, surrendered, life to me and my three sisters.  Through the years there have been times of additional questions and times of pondering.  However, I have found without a doubt that God responds to honesty every time.

How long have you been at LCF?

I began serving in pastoral ministry in the fall of 1994.  I have served in youth ministry positions in New York, Georgia, and Ohio.  While serving in Ohio I transitioned to a Lead Pastor position and then moved towards serving fully in the areas of Pastoral Care and Counseling.  I joined the Pastoral Team here in this role at LCF in October 2016.

Tell us a little bit about your family.

I met my wife, Michelle, while we both were attending and studying at Nyack College.  She grew up in New England, in the glorious state of Massachusetts, and we were married in Foxboro in 1996.  We have been blessed with two fantastic children, our son Zachariah and daughter Mackenzie.

What do you like to do in your free time?

In my downtime, I enjoy any activity that will take me outside.  I like to run for the physical challenge and exercise, and biking or hiking with my family is a favorite.  I am big fan of hockey, baseball, and football and enjoy both attending sporting events in person or watching a game on TV.  Growing up in Western New York, I am still an avid fan of the Buffalo Sabres and Buffalo Bills.  The Chiefs and Royals are cool too.
